Gentle Heat

GENTLE HEAT is a Chicago and Milwaukee based band whose post-punk roots flower effortlessly into a dreamy pop. Noise, disunion, and transience are subtle textures in a broader sound that is beautifully moody and airy. Drawing on the dualism suggested by its name, Gentle Heat is simultaneously light and intense; creating a sonic space where flickers of post-punk, no wave, and dream pop are awash in a shimmery psychedelic flourishing.
