Luke Titus, the Chicago born songwriter, producer, and drummer, pushes his band-leading powers to new heights with a quintet of Chicago shredders that includes Brian Sanborn (on guitar), Parker Grogan (on bass), Lenard Simpson (on saxophone), and Julius Tucker (on keys). On 'Three Songs', the Luke Titus Quintet produce an expansive and cosmic fusion of jazz, drum and bass, crate-dug beats, and other radiances drawn from the outskirts of various alternative and experimental realms. The 26-minute instrumental project is out now on Sooper Records.
