Album Description
“[G]enre-busting” with its combination of “jazz-influenced experimentations, riotous post punk, and giddy indie pop.” - Chicago Reader
Man Without A Head is the solo project of Chicago musician Glenn Curran. The self-titled debut was recorded with numerous contributors over two years, a collaboration which resulted in the founding of Sooper Records. Man Without a Head is a record about political disaffection and the absurdity of existence. It makes this statement through the use of verbose lyrics, bombastic vocals, dense multi-instrumental arrangements, and experimental motifs within a pop-rock framework.
